COVID-19 in Colorado – June 24, 2020 update
The rate of new cases in Colorado is increasing again. New hospitalizations are flat and expected to start increasing again. Deaths are presently and thankfully few compared to even a month ago, but will start climbing when hospitalizations increase.
Dear governors of pandemic-stricken states: citizens staying home to avoid catching COVID-19 and not spending money shuts down your economy as thoroughly as a lockdown order. The difference is that lockdowns save lives, while refusing to issue a lockdown to avoid "shutting down the economy" kills people. Choose wisely.
