Radical rightists labeling their political enemies “groomers” or “pedophiles” is an actual Nazi tactic

Radical rightists and much of the right media regularly label their political enemies as pedophiles, groomers, child traffickers, etc. The goal is to dehumanize their enemies in order to create the conditions where murdering said enemies is moral, even morally necessary.

This is a Nazi tactic.

I mean that literally – the Nazis used this exact same tactic to dehumanize German Jews (blood libel).

If someone applies this label to you, that means two things. First, that the person or organization labeling you such considers you a threat. Second, that they want you dead.
