What the actual fuck, people?!

I walked to get the mail today because I needed some sunlight and to stretch my legs a bit and this is what I was greeted with – discarded gloves left as litter on the concrete pad in front of the community mailbox.

Let me be absolutely clear here. If you feel the need to wear gloves to get your mail, by all means do so. Mail isn’t exactly the cleanest thing in the world at the best of times (although cash is far dirtier), and a pandemic is definitely not the best of times. But for gods’ sake, don’t leave your gloves as litter for other people to pick up or feel obligated to leave in place because they aren’t wearing gloves.

Get your mail and then dispose of the gloves in your own trash when you get home.
